  1. That’s interesting thank you. I’m talking more about the coastal areas to be fair. We will be spending more time on and around the Broads soon so perhaps I should stick with O2 for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What about the ending??!! Are they still there? [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not that I’m aware of. But I’ve never seen them advertise any guaranteed coverage in rural areas either. Perhaps I missed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Is the rule hire boats must have a pilot or is there more to it than that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. How to turn it on for Android .... https://www.howtogeek.com/234608/how-to-enable-wi-fi-calling-on-an-android-phone/ And how to turn it on for Apple .... https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203032 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I think the networks are working on the assumption they don’t need to provide apps as the technology is built into iOS / Android these days. You just need to get it turned on by the network provider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. EE seems to be investing in infrastructure in Norfolk. We used to stay at Waxham a lot and used an EE mifi device. In a couple of years it went from a weak 3G signal to strong 4G. But I’m on O2 and that’s truly rubbish in Norfolk! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry. It was meant as a joke. Not trying to make a point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If you’re on Apple (and I’d guess it works on Android too but I don’t know) you can get them to switch Wi-fi calling on. I switched a few months ago and I’d say it works better than TuGo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You might like this one too. But it does sound like you’re already getting all the alerts you need! 11. Only useful to you Apple users. Sorry. But who wouldn’t be an Apple user? [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. No problem. Only realised after I posted the bulk of the info is the same on all four. Sorry. I copied the info from an app. Will try and post a link to it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. The first two are .... Flood Warning Flooding is expected. Immediate action required. The second two are ... Flood Alert Flooding is possible. Be prepared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The tidal River Yare, from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water This message has been issued because we are expecting high water levels due to the natural tide locking caused by high waters at Great Yarmouth, which is restricting the normal drainage out to sea of the Broads system at low tide. High levels in the Broads may last all day until the high tides have passed. High water is due at Lowestoft at 5:30am on Sunday 29 October 2017. The detailed forecast for those that use it is for a peak level of 2.01mAODN, which is 1.51m above tide tables. The wind forecast is Force 7, North North West. (mAODN means height above average sea level, for more info refer to local tide tables). Levels can take several hours to peak in the Broads in response to incoming tidal waters. Remain vigilant. 20. Ah ok thank you. I was going on this http://www.broads-authority.gov.uk/boating/navigating-the-broads/bridge-heights-and-opening-times Saying average high tide clearance is 6’6” And this http://www.mynorfolkbroadsboating.co.uk/norfolk%20broads%20bridge%20clearance.html Saying there’s typically a 4” to 6” tidal range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. If I’m understanding what I think I’m reading on various sites I think there’s typically 6’6” to 7’ headroom. Do we agree? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. That’s really useful thank you. Would 6’ air draft be safe for PH? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for that. Does anyone know if there’s a list of brokers websites anywhere? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks you. I’ll definitely be in touch once I own the berth. If anyone is really bored ... conceptually .... Will I own the berth if I have a leasehold off the EA? Can you own a berth? Isn’t the berth the water and doesn’t the water belong to the BA or EA or Anglian Water? It’s all too confusing [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks for that. I’ll have a look at the Viking and CF boats. I think I’ll get away with slightly over 8’ as it will overhang the sides of the berth without a problem won’t it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
