Hi Bob,

The short staithe at the side of of the Hotel Wroxham does not belong to the hotel. Since the development of the area and access from the road as opposed to the previous main access from the side of the hotel this mooring location may be used more, certainly it would suitable as an extra mooring for the pilot. The mooring belongs to the local district council.

There is moorings for 2 or 3 boats if they are smaller outside of the Hotel Wroxham, we have always loved to moor there when ever possible, they have always charged for mooring, but in the distant past there used to be a discount if having a meal. I have spoken with the new owners last season and suggested that they ought to offer electric hook up for boats. Time will tell, but the situation of calling in for passes for parked cars when using the services of the hotel for functions/meals sets a president against boaters IMHO.

Regards

Alan

seems to be the best thing is to avoid Granary Staithe unless you want to pay then , sad really , , never mind , we'll go under the bridge ( using the pilot ) and moor up the other side . thanks for the info RanworthBreeze cheers
