For those for whom the Broads is about rather more than (or as well as) messing around on boats; today is the annual 'Heigham Holmes Open Day', a once in a year opportunity to explore a remote and very special part of Broadland and do some wildlife spotting.  Lots of activities provided for children,  by the National Trust (who are the landowners) and the BA Education team, and others.
