kfurbank
Looks like a serious amount of drugs have literally washed up on the beaches in Norfolk. http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/crime/more_than_50m_worth_of_cocaine_has_been_discovered_washed_up_on_beaches_in_hopton_and_caister_1_4885496 Better washed up on the beach than causing serious grief for countless families and loved ones.
JennyMorgan
I once found bales of cannabis on Lowestoft Beach. Since I had my boat trailer I loaded up to take it away & dump it, not having a clue what it was! A friend came along and 'guessed' what it was so we took it up to Plod's. I was sweet & innocent back then, think of the money that I could have made, if only I had known! The stuff is anchored with a buoy at low water by the delivery boat, a day or two later a local boat, knowing exactly where to go, the joys of g.p.s, goes out at low water again, the buoy uncovered by the low water, picks up the drugs and innocently returns to harbour. Been going on for years. Occasionally, if it's a bit rough, the drugs break free & get washed ashore.
ChrisB
Maybe with all our easterlies it was destined for Holland and dragged its anchor!
