Have just booked the Wroxham Hotel for my wife’s Birthday weekend

I figured I’d have a balcony so I can watch all the comings and goings

any reviews from fellow NBN are welcome

(just in case I’ve booked something I shouldn’t have done)

normally we stay at the Wherry at Oulton, just fancied a change

I guess that for a weekend the Wroxham Hotel makes sense, Snowy, and I hope that you have a splendid time! Please take lots of pics!

(For a single night I'd personally repeat the Wayford Bridge DBB package with our 10% discount).

I have already booked 1 nights bed and breakfast at the Wayford Bridge, didn’t know about the 10% discount.  Do you think if I ring up and change my booking to DB & B they will let me have the discount?

Jess, hi and welcome aboard with your first post. It's not so difficult, is it?

I'm almost certain that you will if you tell them that you are an NBN member. You need to talk to the management,  though.   :default_beerchug:

Hello Snowy,

We have stayed in most of the balcony rooms over the years, my advice would be not to have a room above the restaurant/function room because of the catering fans on the roof above the rooms in this area, try for a room nearer toward the center  of the building or near to the bridge.

Regards

Alan

Stayed there earlier this year in a balcony room and was really very nice for the money. There is a very good Thai restaurant straight opposite, and the bar in the hotel is very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, they make to order so nice & fresh, all in all was a very pleasant stay!
