Hockham Admiral
I'm using Vista and Windows Photo Gallery on my laptop and want to reduce pics to 1600 x 1600 or less for the Forum. At home I use XP and WPG and it's simple but on my laptop I just can't find the instruction to reduce the pixels; all it lets me do is crop. Any suggestions, please? I put this in Technical Discussions but I'm not sure if it won't get more views (and hopefully the answer!) here. jillR
hi john in photo gallery select "open" then "paint" in paint select "edit" then "resize and skew" perhaps best to make a copy of the picture to do it on 1st, so you dont lose the original (click pictures to make readable)

mbird
If you have Microsoft Office installed John, this comes with a programme called Microsoft Picture Manager in which you can resize a whole batch of pics at once.
