quo vadis
A friend of mine lost drive both forward and astern at the weekend, anyway today we moved the engine forward and found the drive plate on the engine had lost all its splines, (made of aluminium) the drive shaft going into the leg is steel and undamaged. I dont have much information only that the outdrive is a Yamaha, the shaft to the drive is 1 1/8" dia with 17 splines and the engine is a GM. Does anyone know anywhere I should start looking to find one, any help would be appreciated. Bob
Antares_9
Redbay boats in Northern Ireland may help if you can't find a closer source, they install loads of Yam O/Ds in their boats.
