Norfolk Broads Pub

hI,

I'm new to the site with many fond memories of the Broads.

i'm trying to remember the name/site of a pub from way back. I remember it had a garden landscaped with a map of the Broads. It was a long time ago and quite possibly the pub no longer exists-any ideas?

What year are you thinking it was? North or south broads?

The Kings Arms at Wroxham (Hoveton for the pedantic) used to display a Broads map in the waterside garden so possibly there ?

This was the Duke's Head at Somerleyton. The pub exists, but the map has gone.

Brilliant. Thanks Regulo. I was keen to find out because my father who sailed between the wars told me he and crew went there for an evening and as was the way back then the pianist in the crew tried the piano but the lid was locked. He asked for the key but the landlord explained that  behind the piano laid out on a table and covered in a sheet was some poor soul pulled from.the river that day awaiting the undertaker in the morning. They hadn't closed the pub but thought it respectful to lock the piano
