Guest
Hey, Does anyone know if Trowse bridge is opening? I thought I heard somewhere that it should be operational by the end of March? If it is opening, does it open at specific times or whenever needed?
senator
Yes it works but what is the point of it? That wasn't meant to be facetious, it is just that there does not appear to be anywhere to more, apart from a short stay at Morrisons, between Trowse and Foundry bridge and both bridges are the same height. If Network Rail have spent a small fortune on repairing Trowse for no reason would it not have been better spent on Reedham and Somerleyton? thirdmate
Maybe the forum should get together and buy a cheap coaster just to run up and down from Yarmouth to Norwich. Make life interesting for the plonkers at NR and liven up the the peeps at Dragonfly house. We can but dream........

There's a BA notice on the NSBA website confirming it's now fully operational. http://www.thegreenbook.org.uk/noticebo ... eboard.asp Senator's quite right though, since the Yacht Station is above Foundry, it's only useful if the Sea Scouts want to go for a spin in their Swedish Gunboat !
