Busy In Horning

It was half term sailing / racing training at Snowflake Sailing Club on 16th,17th,18th

Looking at the picture they've set the course down river from the clubhouse as it is more sheltered from the wind.

There should be racing today, but with Weybourne already exceeding 40mph that'll be cancelled.

The Horning SC web site is down, but before then one of the cameras had succumbed and was stareing at the ground.

That's right, the other buoy was near the downstream end of the public moorings. 

The safety boats were on the ball and kept busy as quite a few got wet!!! 

We had a good view as we were moored near the Staithe and Willow. Got bumped quite a few times but those Toppers look so light they woudnt cause any damage

When coming in between a pile of dinghies on a crowded mooring , I always try to go between two toppers, they make good fenders, they're made of a soft ish plastic.

We have previously held the Yeoman Keelboat class nationals and the Ramuz Trophy at Horning in 40mph winds. So it doesn't surprise me. Had the owner of the Yeoman I sail in the winter, been fit we'd have been out.
