I don't suppose you could persuade Debbie to do a cross stitch for Moonlight Shadow? I was thinking more in the line of sailing boats/herons/swans/ducks/kingfishers rather than wizards though, and maybe smaller and less involved that wouldn't take several years to complete.

Hmmmmm, let think about that. . . . . . . . . . . . . probably not. I’ll see if she can find a small one that’s suitable. She finished one of kingfishers before starting the owl, but it took several years (as they do) and will get framed for home. I’ll see if it’s handy and grab a photo. She usually works on them on holidays, or when we’re on the boat, but she does prefer to work in natural light as they are quite intricate, hence the timescale.

I did a couple of small ones many years ago. And also have one that’s half done. I know exactly where it is. 🤭 I have thought I’ll pick cross stitch back up as a hobby when I eventually retire.

I have a cross stitch partly done too. I dropped it as I was finding it a bit of a strain on my eyes. Maybe I need a decent magnifying glass with built in light?
