One wonders what sort of things they may be discussing that cannot be shared with those upon whom decisions may have the greatest impact. Quite rightly when there are commercially sensitive matters being discussed. That said, when the Breydon Water Yellow Post farce was being played out then perhaps a public involvement would have been prudent. Must say that in my four years on the Nav Com I was never aware of any hanky panky when the public were asked to leave, most of that would already have taken place before the meeting was convened, outside.
