Well I watched it, and..... well I watched it. I would have liked to have seen more of the "Broads" and less or Len and Fiona. A typical BBC afternoon fill in programme.
What I really want to know is.... WHAT day was the sun out, when it was filmed last year!
Over all, a pleasant forty five minutes escapism.

We legged it out to the Dereham Road, from the Yacht Station once, to the pub/micro brewery forget its name, a right spit n sawdust place, original wooden floors, and some excellent real ales...hic!

There was one a guest at I think it was the Leaping Salmon in Berwick, a Wetherspoons pub, next to the bridge, but I could be wrong. So many weird and wonderful names for real ale now!

I agree JM, its a skill carrying FOUR on one of those cardboard trays at a test match and NOT spill a drop! I did like the look of the plastic ones though with handles I saw at the South African Test matches on TV.

As my driving instructor said the day I passed my test,(1967) you now have a licence to kill and maim. Treat all roads with the respect they deserve.

As my headline says, these http://news.stv.tv/scotland/1344756-haggis-braveheart-and-scotties-as-scotmoji-set-for-mobile-launch/ will be coming to a mobile phone soon....and..I hope Admin will kindly add a few on here for those of us from north of the border! A bit of fun

There are two good ones the other side of Potter Heigham bridge, at Hickling, if you are lucky enough to get through that hole with the Pilot! They are the Pleasure Boat Inn at the staithe, and the Greyhound in the village. I don't know if The Lion is open at West Sommerton, also there is the one you can walk to from Horseymere windmill.
Enjoy your holiday and pubs where ever you manage to moor.

Hi Sarah,
A very warm welcome to the NBN Forum
Remember you can moor at all the hire yards, bar busy change over times. Have a wonderful time and be prepared like the rest of us, to be smitten by the Broads!
