One of the first computers I upgraded to 10 done the same , the files downloaded in minutes but the installation took hours I had sat all night watching it went to bed in the end got up in the morning and it was finally done took about 17 hours can't tell why , other computers your finished in a hour , but that is good you finally cracked it ... ...

A few weeks ago a friend asked me if I would upgrade a Dell laptop for her , cut a long story short there was compatibility issues with windows 10 so I wiped the laptop clean and installed Ubuntu , first time I have ever used it and I must say I am very very impressed and would definitely consider using if my self in the future...

Good news Alan I hope you are pleased with it , the good thing about Windows 10 being app based if there is stuff you don't need at the moment just uninstall them the app stays there so if you wish to use it in the future you just re install it so it's really good ...

Hi John if there is a icon in your task bar just click it and follow the instructions if not go to google and type in upgrade to windows 10 and take it from there any problems I would be happy to help you ...

HI John you have no worries if you upgrade all your other software will be fine , I am not joking if I say I must have upgraded around 40 other computers for different people and no problems so far , good luck ...

Good to see the ones using Windows 10 are enjoying it after all the scare mongering , I installed it day one and really not had to many problems , Edge was playing up the stock browser but that's been fixed , the only other thing I have had was a display driver was not loading but managed to fix that since then all is great very happy computer is responsive and very fast ... So guys if you don't have remember it is only free till the 29th of July after that Microsoft will be after your hard earned cash so grab it while you can Microsoft don't give much away I do beta testing for them and have done for many years and I can tell you they are very tight ... ...

Hi there , first thing is what browser are using ? Edge is the stock browser in Windows 10 all the things you are having problems with seem browser related . So maybe I would try a different browser Internet Explorer app is already installed just search for it and give it a go see how you get on with it , I use both myself as Edge did have glitches to begin with . Let me no how you get on ...
