Thanks for that. Did a bit of googling last night and see there was a guy from tip tree Essex caught with a load of marine stuffs around the same time. Merry christmas john

Thanks for that Stuart. Do you know why it was only handling and what did the 2 that have been found guilty get punishment wise?

It's not a police bashing comment at all. Iam just asking the question. I feel the front line police have the hardest job and have a lot to do with less and less numbers, all this with one or both arms tide behind their backs. The fault lies with the judicial system. In my book. The only reason I ask is as these people robbed me I would like to know what happens to them. Hope that clears it up for you

Hello Stuart. Is it true that the people caught for the boat break ins earlier in the year were bailed and have since disappeared.
-
Is it still open now?
-
I was going to go today but with so little info about what was for sale decided not to bother.
-
Did anyone go today? Iam thinking of going tomorrow but don't want a wasted trip as its along way if it's just a load of carp. john

My cutless bearing is noisy I think.

Thanks for the help. I don't have a regular stern gland the brass piece has 3 lip seals in it. I seem to get the rumbling noise and slight vibration if I open her up a bit. When I get her on my trailer I will take some pictures -

Thanks for the help I am looking at doing the job myself. Boat will be out in a couple of weeks so will be able to investigate further. Thanks john -
In the back cabin on my fjord 27 is quite noisy when running sounds like a bearing is running dry. So Iam guessing my my cutless bearing is toast. I am getting my boat out the water soon so anyone recommend where to get a beard my and what sort of job it is. Thnks john

we were out this week, had a great week to finish are first season on the broads. Here's a Plc of us coming back across breydon on Thursday
-
That came past us a ludham bridge yesterday. Couldn't make out if it was wrapped or painted.
-
Sorry but I think your going to be out of luck. Why not just fill up and pump out on the 23rd and then just give the next people a few quid for diesel.
-
Thank you. Please keep us posted

I was told they don't pay rent but a % of takings. So unless the % is to much it will depend how much trade they do. I was in there 3/4 weeks ago on a Saturday night and was the only boat there.

Hello Stuart. As a victim of the last lot of boat break ins, do you know what happened to the people that were caught earlier in the year. thanks john
-
Only one hire fleet in ely 10-12 boats may be. I don't know what they pay . I used to pay £444 for my 27ft boat on the ouse, about 100 mls of water ways. people always go on about tolls going up a few quid but don't mined paying up to £40/ft for mooring in a marina.
-
Coming from ea waters to the broads is way cheaper you lot don't know how lucky you are. On the great Ouse you get broken locks, lots of flooding ( navigation closed), lots of weed and some very shallow parts. And cost nearly twice as much.

Similar boating history to mine, me and the missus Maryland 16, Norman 20, then Jack turned up so. We need a bit room so a palomino 24 and now a fjord 27. Will send you a pm about mooring. john
