Could it be an "escape route" from Norwich Cathedral?

Thought the mooring dyke looked too long to be at Potter. Must have been somewhere towards the start of the "riverside accommodation area" before Repps staithe

Starting to get stuck on this one. Give us a small clue is it north or south?

The only place I can think of is down one of the side dykes at Wroxham

Hi Dave and welcome. Is there any chance of stocking a few castors as well? If you can manage to undercut Lathams prices then you should do well......lots of fishing done on the Thurne ! Will pop in and see you when we are down there in a couple of months time.

We are due to be afloat at the end of September and as usual I hope to do plenty of fishing throughout the week. Wondered if anyone had any favourite spots where there is always plenty to be caught ( I will have a novice with me and want to keep them interested). We will be on Bolero so have to take in to account that we will not be able to get through Wroxham, Potter or Wayford bridges

Yes I saw that as well Jonny. I hope the camera did lie this time and there was plenty of room between them ! Clive, she looks really spacious, hope I get the chance to have a closer look when down there at end of September.

I know that I am new to this forum but is it ok for me to put forward a suggestion? I have noticed that on another forum, which I am sure we are all aware of, they have a holiday calendar where you enter the dates when you will be on the Broads . Can I ask if it would be possible to do something similar and also include the name of the boat or accomodation you will be using. Other members will then be able to keep an eye open for them especially if they could display a sign showing the forum name and also who they are.

Thanks for the welcome. Just spent a couple of days reading the thread about the birth of Richardsons RC45...very very interesting. I had a look at Carousel last October with a veiw to booking it for October this year but I was too late....it was already booked!!!

Just thought i'd say hi to everyone. I've been taking my holidays on the Broads since 1964 although I have missed about 10 years in total but have made flying visits to the area during some of those 10. Looking forward to enjoying a good read whenever I have the time......lots to catch up .
