  1. Hi Arthur, I've checked on my tablet and pop ups and cookies are allowed, Howard has let me use his, it works, I've used my other tablet, it works and yet I can't get past the login page on this one. I'm baffled! If it helps, Howard has a Sony Xperia z1, this one is a Sony Xperia z3 and my other is a Toshiba excite pro. I'll keep trying other things on this one, but many, many thanks for your help Delilah xx
  2. I agree. Not sure what's going on, but could be my tablet, so....I'll try on the laptop, then get NN to try on his pc, plus I'll have a crafty look on my work pc (obviously when I'm not being watched) We will get this sorted xx
  3. Hi folks, Didn't stand a chance of taking part last night, as I couldn't log in as instructed, user name and no password, and I am wondering whether this is because I'm trying to do this on an android tablet and not a pc or laptop? Have mentioned this to Lord Grendel already as I'm stumped and would love to take part in the quiz. Can this be sorted, we wonder? Delilah Xx
  4. Hi, I've pm'd Grendel as I'm having no luck at all trying to log in on the quiz site. Hopefully it'll be sorted Delilah
  5. Nope, tried and tried to log on as instructed and it just kicks me out. Never mind, maybe next week? Delilah x
  6. Hi SteveO Many thanks for the reply. Is logging in a time-based thing? Will I be able to do that at 8.30? Delilah (aka Mrs N, or Sunday name, Linda)
  7. Hi, May I participate too, or is there something against that as I'm not yet a full member? Mrs Nog
  8. Mr Nog restores old valve radios...we have several dozen around the place, all in various stages of restoration, all 'projects'. The sound from them is amazing too
  9. Thanks KK Also, can I just confuse our youngster even further and mention that the very BEST sound comes from Ye Olde Elizabethan valve amp...tee hee xx
  10. Come on, JF, you are as old as you feel...I can remember before streaming music, mp3s, mini disks (a really good base for music), cassettes, 8 track music, back to vinyl when a single cost 4 shillings and 11 pence (in old money) when a vinyl album cost all of my pocket money for a month! The first album I ever, ever bought was The Kinks, Well Respected Kinks...I was five, or maybe six years old at the time. Show me a better way of playing music than on a turntable with the amp hiked up? Lind xx
  11. You go ahead and do your worst, JF....with you all the way.... Lind xx
  12. JF, all he needs to do is mention 'her' name and I physically bristle. He's just bought her new album too, on vinyl of course...(growl)
  13. Ermmmm, what can I say JF? Mr N is continuing his quality control in our local, as you can see. Listening to his 'other' love too, Kim Wilde....
  14. No, JF, as far as I can see, thats all this ever was, on a boring Sunday, when SOME of us are at work, looking forward to our next trip..... Lind xx
  15. Soooooooo sorry, but couldn't resist............
  16. 254 days to go.....has anyone started their shopping yet?
  17. .....try that with 6 inch heel boots.....
  18. The best example of Mr N's "and this is a public footpath.....don't I take you to some fantastic places" was in 2015, when we walked from Salhouse village to The Lodge, a place I had never been before. This was indeed said public footpath.........
  19. So sorry JF, as it seems that "ladies with shoes" have hijacked your thread..... I have a pair of very non-sexy Gortex ankle boots (made by Clarks..they go well with jeans) that I take on every trip, beit December, February or summer. I also have a pair of thigh length black leather boots that Mr N thinks I look good in. Yes, I agree with Grace that to get from a pub through muddy tracks etc needs something flat so I have done the "take your gorgeous shoes in bag and put them on in the pub" bit. It works too I also agree with Katiew, when you feel as though you are very limited to the things that you can take. Neither of us drive and we have to cart three holdalls on the various trains, buses etc, so I'm limited to one, maybe two, pairs of classy shoes that have to be wedged in between the various chargers, the frying pan, toiletries...... Hi Grace
  20. Ha, so I'm the brains of the outfit, am I? Beauty, brains, feist....you obviously don't know me! I agree with 'im indoors throwing down the gauntlet. Watch this space....... Linda x
  21. I told Mr N earlier that I though 4 was the Beauchamp Arms. He told me not to be so daft, but it's a guess after all. Linda x
