Not major surgery, JF. I had a 'young person's' cataract removed and now have 20/20 vision in my left eye. Back at work tomorrow, but thought that we would make a day of it. Hoppy beers a go-go, for Mr N......but if you feel like offering your assistance to a poor distressed female, for God's sake keep it to yourself. If Grace finds out, we're both dead......xx

Can I add my two penneth here as well? We have heard some strange stories from boatyard owners about people (not dogs or any other pets) leaving the boat's in an absolutely TERRIBLE state, so much so that the boat had to be "deep cleaned".... It's not the fault of the pet, not all of the time! Xx

Can I put my take on things? I'm very new to this forum thing, having never been on one...not even a Shoe or a Nail Polish one...in my life. However, I've listened to NN and now joined, so I'm a virtual newbie and have found that this, if someone asked me, is a really good place to start...and be...just for the experience Just my thoughts...Dxx

Let me and Grace take you on a shopping trip, JF, you'd love it. Just think how many shoe shops there are, how many department stores, clothes shops? And that's just for starters!

My mum came from a fairly big family. She was the eldest of nine siblings and was the first to get married. She wanted to carry on working, so up to school age my nana looked after me, so I had what I thought at the time were big brothers and sisters. It was great! My nana introduced me to George Formby, Old Mother Riley and my absolute favourites, Fred and Ginger and the music of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and George Gershwin. IMHO, you cannot top some of the songs those guys wrote and even now, listening to them on the radio it takes me back to that time....

My one would be The Kinks, All Day and All Of The Night...which I bought as a single with pocket money at 6 yo xx

I suffered from Anorexia when I reached my mid teens, in the 70s. It was horrible, thinking back on it, as for some stupid reason looking in the mirror always made me feel overweight, at 7 stone, 5 foot 8 tall. It stayed with me through the 80s and some of the 90s, until my parents looked after me during the day whilst I was recovering from a really bad road accident (I was knocked down by a van while crossing the road). The weight started to pile on as my mum and dad had such "healthy" diets that I was being fed full English breakfasts and all sorts of other stuff (she also worked in a Chinese Takeaway and learned from them how to cook all their "English" Chinese meals). I gained at least 3 stone, then met Mr N and over time gained quite a few more. It was nearly at the point where I was wearing a tent to go to work. Then, as you guys all know, I broke my ankle (Feb 2016) and had 3 months off work, with Mr N booling me round in a wheelchair as well as helping with exercise (the yellow, green, blue and red bands from physiotherapy) and lost 2 stone. When I eventually went back to work, no-one recognised me. My problem was, being office based, snacking! Crisps, biscuits, chocolate..all very nice, but not healthy. Now, we walk or get the bus and walk. I'm now just over 12 stone, but happy with my body (and so is Mr N) Delilah xx

And... It works on my phone too. I'm logged in now and this is also a Sony Xperia, but this is an XZ premium on Android v8. I'm still baffled....
