The road to no where. Massive housing developments to the north of the city. Huge areas of land already owned by developers, it's only being farmed until they get full planning permission.
1.3bn to the norfolk economy!! Rowlocks.

Interesting looking knot.

There won't any changes to Potter bridge, period. It's protected and that's it.

I would like to join in but I haven't got a clue what you are talking about!!!

What's bad about the broads - Tescos
What's good about the broads - supporting local shops

They may have finished dualling the A11, but we're still making it difficult to get where you want in Norfolk!!!!!!

Is this not one that was moored up the more northern end of the broad?
Could be moored there for the winter for safety. Maybe JM has more info.

Well I must admit I thought you would be one of the first replies, as you are so knowledgeable. I feel very sad that you have such a cold logical mind, I personally would risk my life for my dog.

I think if JMs thread had read "would you risk your life for YOUR dog", then maybe some of the posts by one or two analytical types would not have appeared on this thread.I've no doubt they are probably part of the the 'dog is only for Christmas' brigade. I would do my utmost to save one of my dogs if their life was in danger and anyone who tells me I am irrational or stupid, well tuff titty, don't tell me how to act if my dogs life is at risk.

just re-read this thread, don't think I saw your last post before Barry. You sure Georgie Brooks didn't see the area manager off with his mother inlaw, I know which I would rather have faced upto!!

If, as I have read, there is an allegation that he physically assaulted the producer then he must be suspended until the investigation has taken place, just as a member of the police, teacher, etc. would be. If the allegation turned out to be correct the BBC would be in deeper water for not suspending him.

Love Marmite, hate Clarkson. A reason for reinstating him is, that Top Gear makes lots of money for the BBC, is that a reason for him to get away with anything he wants? Maybe he should have been a banker!

There was a time when it was overseen by the GY Land Haven Commisioners that a boats tender was free.(correct me if I wrong, age takes its toll!)

I've got weeds, drat this warm weather, you can almost see them growing!
Must get them out before they overtake plants.

I agree as well! Why some people have to analyse every word and comma is beyond me, must be a boring lifestyle I suppose.

Shouldn't this thread be in 'broads related chat' rather than the lounge, non broads related. Sorry just being picky.

Blimey, you'd all better watch out today, considering the date!

Amazing what these fish eye lenses can do to a small room.

It's a road traffic collision (RTC), not an accident. Very few road traffic collisions are accidents.

See all those white areas to the north and east? Once that road is built they will all be covered in thousands, and I mean thousands of houses. This is not a road like the southern bypass, it's a mostly a poxy little 2 way carriageway. When it gets to the east it goes nowhere, a huge waste of £150 million odd quid
