Regulo
I have this Narwhal inflatable which is trying to return to it's pre-assembled form, i.e. bits are becoming unglued (see pics). Mainly the transom (both sides), and one towing eye. Now, if anyone fancies trying to glue it back together, you can have it. The tubes are perfect, no leaks or repairs, as is the floor. ExSurveyor
I had a similar problem with a Zray, it took a couple of tubes of glue but I was a bit messy. I donated it to a friend who is still using it two years later. Best advice is to glue small read at a time and have some cleaner handy. JennyMorgan
Regulo, if it's still available then could I have it please? Be ideal as a shore to buoy tender.
johnb
Years ago we had a Hutchinson Dinghy a friend accelerated so quickly it pulled the transom away from the rubber flanges attached to the tubes. I drilled through the flanges, glued and fitted 3/16 nuts and bolts though the flanges and transom, using large washers. It wasn't pretty but when we eventually got rid of it, that was its strongest part!! MauriceMynah
I would imagine that the tubes material isn't thick enough to take a wood screw, so it would have to be glue really!
Regulo
JM, it's yours. I'll pm you.
JennyMorgan
Big thanks to Regulo! I haven't blown it up yet but maybe tomorrow. All the way up from Sunny Essex only to find the river was frozen, must have been disappointing.
Regulo
It's never disappointing to be aboard - even when you can't go anywhere! Run up the engine, nice cuppa, then drive to Bridgestones at Potter for a superb steak and kidney pie, wander through Latham's, two cakes for afternoon tea, back to the boat via Ludham Bridge Boatyard for a chat with George, then home, calling at JM's in sunny Lowestoft. I love it!
JennyMorgan
It was good to meet you again. Yes, it was pleasantly sunny, not up to Thursday's sunset though. Two cakes, gosh, you glutton! Got to admit that I am partial to Latham's cakes but small they are not.
Regulo
Come on, JM! You know Rene was with me!! That's one cake each. But I could have had another, easily.
