There needs to be more mooring not for just canoes but all craft visiting Norwich, yes there is the yacht station but all those old moorings outside the old warehouses ought to be utilized. 

The suggested walkway is a step in the right direction, all city or towns with rivers or canals that have embraced their rivers and canals have improved their environment, take for example the center of Birmingham around the Gas Street Basin area, clean well maintained walkways and bridges with canal side bars, bistros, eateries  with great moorings and facilities.
