Water But Not The Broads

At present I am working in Paddington,along the way to work or going back to the underground.I go past some boats.One had the wood burner going,also in one photo are restaurant boats,if the temp was a bit higher,I may  have been tempted to have a cold beer.

I went to college round there (about 9 years ago) i don't think you could even walk the tow path the buildings went up to the water. I'll have to have a wander round there soon.

Is that the area that they used to call Little Venice, at the start of the Grand Union Canal?

It is more or less. I think that stretch is on the arm which that runs past Paddington station to the basin

Hello Vaughan,

Little Venice is on the Regents Canal, after saying that the Regent Canal joins with the Grand Union, Tan and I have done that stretch of the canals, but it was quite a few years ago. The Canals will always be our first love on the waterways, but we also enjoy our time on the Broads.

Indeed,

just out of picture is the enterance to the underground. I am sure it' busy in the summer
