I know you can get rope cutters for your prop, has anyone had one fitted, is it worth doing?

I think it was pbo that did a rope cutter test with a prop in a tank and various different ropes and cables to see which performed best, it may save you a dunking sometime.

My boat came with one fitted and I don't recall ever having the prop rope tangled feeling .my advice should you need some piece of mind do your research on which one and only have it fitted when you can combine the work with other lift out work to keep cost down . Should I ever buy on the broads again I will not bother but I would take out break down cover
