Recently, every time I load this site I get a message asking me if I want to allow the site to send me notifications.. Why do I have to say "no" every time instead of just the once? You may have guessed I do not want notifications!

Your lucky, recently it asked me is I wanted to open or save a .json file!! I politely declined and immediately ran a virus scan which came up clean. Never had it happen before though.

I think it may be something added by the forum software developers to comply with GDPR, but I am not 100% sure on that (why would I be, I just implement the technical side of this place).

I had that, but once I cleared my cache it was all good.

I note that the forum has recently switched to using https (which is much more secure), so that may be confusing some browsers? A cache clear fixes it though.
