Hoseasons and Blakes

Hi All

Not sure if this has been posted before but I've just looked on the Blakes boating website and at the bottom of the home page it says part of the Hoseasons group Ltd.

I noticed that too... there was talk of moving the Blakes boating operations to Lowestoft so it was all together, wonder if/or when that might happen if it hasn't already?

Bizarre! The logical thing would be for Hoseasons to ditch the Blakes brand and move everything across. I guess Blakes must still have loyal boatyards and loyal customers that Hoseasons would upset by doing that.

They`d probably change the Branding to something like BH or HB Holidays, or something along that line. I doubt they would use BOTH names, but form a new Brand logo out of both. There again, they could just ditch the Blakes AND Hoseasons brand names altogether, and just go under the parent companies logo. Does anybody know who that is?. Regards ..................... Neil.

Apparently they're now part of Wyndham Exchange and Rental which is part of Wyndham Worldwide. They were bought in February 2010 for about $60 million, according to reports I've seen.

Almost the full list Howard, except you've missed Moonfleet Marine at Stalham. Hoseasons confuse things by insisting on keeping the Horning Pleasurecraft name as well, even though Richardsons themselves don't bother with it at all.
