ZimbiIV
Well that's the end for us. Zimbi IV went round to NYA today. Time, distance health, and wealth decreed, that the 280 mile each way trip was getting longer to recover from. So if anyone wants a 27ft Seamaster 820 in very good condition look for it at nya.co.uk it may take a few days to appear they are busy so we are hoping it sells quickly. May hire next year. I miss it already and we only left it at 6 am this morning. paul 9
YnysMon
That’s a real shame Paul. Have you though of syndicate ownership? Not the same, I know, but it’s been a good move for us as we can’t afford our own boat and were finding hiring more than once a year expensive. ZimbiIV
Strangely the hardest part was not to sell but to go round all the friends we have made at Cove and around the area that we are leaving. Then emptying Zimbi, nearly 7 years of accumulated STUFF, useful and the why did we buy this type. The amount of things in the spare bedroom is going to take some sorting. We left a full set of crockery/cutlery pots and pans and brought a full set of crockery/cutlery back? paul
ZimbiIV
YnysMon, After owning we would not be able to accept sharing a boat and not just going when we wanted. We are not fully finished with the Broads yet we have a flat booked for next March ( a covid carry over) and may hire a boat for the following week. paul
Cal
It is always a hard decision to make. We made it last year and then circumstances this year have seen the sale fall through and us end up keeping NC for this year and maybe next. We are finding it just isn't the same though. We are not enjoying our time onboard as much as we were previously. In part I think this is because we had our minds made up that the boat would be going and we would be moving on. I wish you well in whatever path you next decide to take.

I can understand that Paul, I’m sure we would feel the same.
Ray
Sorry to hear this Paul, not an easy decision by any means!
