TheQ Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 Nationally Number 6 in the most profitable speed cameras is the A1067 at Taverham, with 19,398 tickets issued, raising £1.9 Million in fines.. in 2000, much of the money from speed cameras went into local councils pockets, Since 2010 they only get a reduced amount, the rest going to HMG. So since they are not making so much money is why some cameras haven't been commissioned As in the A149 and some other areas areas they have been turned off because they cost money to run..
