Ludham Illuminated Boat Parade 2021

I haven't seen any mention of this recent event but my understanding from Social Media is that it was very successful and very well attended.  There is a FB page devoted to the event with lots of pictures and video footage

I really enjoyed it. Loads of people there and burgers were a bonus. There were sea shanties as well if thats your sort of thing.

Carparking was free, nearby and well signposted

Some people had gone to an extraordinary amount of effort for what was effectively a 30 second "drive by". Congrats must go to them for a good show.

My only slight grumble was that they had cleared all the moorings so everyone could see the parade go past and then moored Hathor right along the front thus blocking the views. Pretty much half of the viewing area had restricted visibility.

All in all though a really good night. Mrs Lovejoy has already decided we will enter next year. And I have been searching for pretty lights and things.
