Richardsons repainted my Horizon for me and did an amazing job... I was a bit boring and went for all white!

Funnily enough I always thought orange was an odd colour  for a boat called "Silver Gem". When in silver though according to Dan's picture it just looked like all the Horizon Craft boats of the time. I'm glad you're keeping the orange though Kate because it's very distinctive, especially as Richardsons have whited out all their older boats.

Such lovely photos Dan, of such an iconic boat design. We hired Horizon 35's for many years from Acle, loved them!

I am sure yours will be back on the river in no time Kate. And judging by Dan's pics, she will look as good as new!

We sometimes see the manager who ran the Acle yard for many years walking his dog. I  am hopeless at remembering names but he is very nice and very knowledgeable.
