Our Year 2022

A year of up and downs We're very pleased with improvements to the house and garden. Lots of money spent,but results far better then expected.

January came along and I felt unwell.Went to hospital,they ruled out anything serious .Then followed six scans Spine Cancer  and Radiotherapy. Appears thankfully to have worked.

A mixed bag of a year for us. A 3rd operation in March for early stage breast cancer, followed by 5 sessions of radiotherapy and assurance from the surgeon that this time the op was successful. A blood test for Tony mid summer indicating a possible prostate problem. A visit to a specialist, apparently nothing to worry about. Phew! Then a glorious Summer spent on a boat for the first time since 2019. Fabulous. So all in all pretty good really. Hoping 2023 doesn't bring anything untoward for anyone.

May we took ownership of Mermaid. Due to ongoing  work on house and garden. We only  went out  a few times.She's in the shed,being re painted and grab rails and other work

Then summer arrived so did very very hot weather,our garden was very colourful. Many neighbours thought we wouldn't be successful. We proved them wrong.

I helped out at Hemsby Lifeboat,for there Lifeboat weekend, Herring festival, November 5 and perhaps the most fun Santa. Hope you like the presents I delivered.

So a year of ups and downs.Lots of good things thankfully. The house,garden a new boat.

 

 

 

Yes Cancer was worrying,but thankfully seems to be under control. If anyone wants to talk about Cancer,just send me a PM.If I can help I will.Macmillian have be a great support to me and I'm thinking of helping them too.Will speak to nurses next week.

 

 

 

Marina has problems with Arthritis also.These conditions don't stop us,just slow us down a bit.

So we look forward  to a better New year. Best wishes  to you all.
