Lucky it was only two, I suppose.  I see they have already put a boom across the end of the basin.

I notice that the boat which seems to have started it, was hooked up to shore power?

Sad weekend for a couple of owners. Just hope they were well insured.

Also a shame to see the likely demise of another Foster/Silverline Classic 27. I've always thought they're lovely little boats and great for getting around all of the Broads network.

According to local radio, three boats were damaged by the fire.

EDP and BBC seem to be reporting the same, but I'm not sure I trust the journalism standards of either these days.

Lowestoft South Fire Station have posted a video on X/Twitter which seems to show another small cruiser in close proximity behind, so hopefully the 3rd might have just been minor damage.

Someone else said three as well but there is definitely only two on site and it ain't deep enough for the other to not be visible if it had gone down.

Maybe it was moved last night?
