grendel
This morning I went to the local boot fair, whilst wandering around I spotted a copy of 'The Jarrold map of the Broads' original price 2/6 bootfair price 'a quid mate'. When I got it home and had a look at it, it is in pristine condition, maybe used once? the only date I can find on it is 1946, the only sign of wear is on the corners of the cover which have been very slightly bent round. I am now officially a happy bunny. Grendel
deebee29
That's a quid well spent I'd say David

BroadScot
I am too young to go back to 1946 Grendel, but I am sure Coowee(Keith) and the Hockham Admiral(John) will remember it vividly! Iain
Gracie
Iain, you are so naughty, you know the Admiral and Keefie don't look a day over 90, just kidding Lol and very handsome they are too (good recovery don't you think)Very nice find GrendelGrace
CooWee
Congratulations on your find Grendel, looks in excellent condition. Right then! "will remember it vividly! :naughty:" My dad would remember 1946, were he still here, the year he got married to my mummy, I turned up the following year. "don't look a day over 90," I am deeply deeply offended, nah not really Grace, I look in a mirror only when I have to and at times think that could be quite a generous appraisal. I'm off to preen myself.
ExSurveyor
Hi Gendal, I went to the Boat Jumble today with a list of 5 items I "want". I came back with one item from the list and 6 items I " need".
