Happy St Patrick's Day.     I have just been looking at the web cam outside of the Temple Bar Pub in Dublin.    Just look at that crowd.   What on earth is the attraction to being in that lot.     

 

Can you imagine us English celebrating St George's Day and the rest of the world saying "Happy St Georges Day".    ----   No neither can I.

The dearest pub in Dublin that is Monica. They even charge, or did charge for entry after 9pm! But, for atmosphere, and Guinness at an arm n a leg a pint too, twas awfy guid!

I looked a moment ago and it is even more packed now with bodies.   All singing and dancing and it is only 4.45 in the afternoon.

 

 

 

In New York it is lunchtime and they are just getting going.

its about time that we the English made more of our Saints day, but I celebrate with the Irish anyway cos their Saint is celebrated on my birthday. I don't mind him sharing.

Every year my "local" has paddy day with guiness at a discounted price, but never bitter at a discounted price on St Georges day.....

 

Do I let my feelings be known.......
