johnb
This is no over reaction! The British Army is on it's way, RAF Neatishead is to be re-opened, and the navy is enquiring re, the depth of the rivers! Let's hope for a peaceful resolution.

johnb
I now have to update my previous "contribution" to this thread. The RAF decided to use diversionary tactics instead. They therefore dropped a bouncing bomb close to Potter Heigham bridge. Fortunately, it bounced over the old one, under the new and landed, who knows where? (Possibly the cause of the recent earthquake in Kent?) The Navy couldn't afford mooring fees or eat in the pubs, so they are still trying to negotiate with local businesses. The army asked if they could park their tanks on Horning Staithe. Norfolk Council said Yes. The Parish Council said No. The Police in Horning said they were too busy still trying to find those who set the hullabaloos boat adrift. I still hope for a peaceable outcome.
