Saily, Have no idea about the publican, my comment was a disguised side swipe at someone in the BA but was out of place and unhelpful so I apologise.

A plea to all Broads users be you a stinky, a sailie, a privateer or a hirer:-

 

Be nice.

Slow down if you have to and can.

Be you a sailie or a stinky - take heed of others and indicate if you need to maneuver or cant!

Moor nicely and think of others who may need to moor up.

If people still insist on being rocketships - let them go and worry about what your next pint of beer might be.

Make a judgement call as to whether you think a crew would like some advice,guidance or help. But do it nicely and if they decline at least you offered your wisdom.

Above all, be polite, have a wave and remember we are either on holiday or on a weekend out so we all want to enjoy ourselves in a safe and pleasant environment.

   

 

If all else fails - bomb the Bxxxxxxxds

 

Seriously, I would hope that the people who read this forum are the good guys here and may not need to be told a lot of this stuff. I am sure we all end up moaning about the other 99% of people who don't give a jot and don't listen anyway!

 

ps. I still love all the dissent though.
