Just a reminder the event is tomorrow https://www.herbertwoods.co.uk/

Water Rail is moored up in the basin, possibly the first time since 1970

Tad breezy mooring up, but next to a Starlight - ended up doing it single handed as my helper was on the wrong side or the basin.  During the day us oldies will be on the river front. Nice to see Salvor still going strong!!!! It only occured to us today but could she be based on a Delight hull?  I measured her and she came in at about 27 feet which would be right? I don't know when she was built - anyone know?

I was told today by Alan Lee (Herbert's grandson) that Salvor was not based on a Delight.  A great day, sharing Woods boat talk.  For example Queen of Light was there, she has a table almost identical to WRs except it should let 8 or so people sit around it wheres WRs sits 4, both the originals.  There were Lights, Ladies, a Stream and a lovely day launch, plus Jennifer 'Woods!'

Tad windy and fun watching boats trying to turn......................
