Steeleye Span -The Victory from the Album Storm Force Ten
I saw them perform this live at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester.
Especially as Martin Carthy was back with them for a short time. His influence is amazing. Far superior and more traditional than the Mike Batt crap!!

remember it is only a very small number of people who catch Covid 19 who have severe symptoms and many have none at all, and the measurable risk decreases further still!
I truly cannot fathom this cavalier attitude to a situation that has claimed almost 40,000 lives in around two months! Its not over yet by a long way I suspect! Also, folk with a similar attitude, please keep well away from me and mine! Two metres??? Preferably a good ten milesminimum!!!

With the greatest possible respect for the original posters intentions this smacks of blazered buffers in well-polished Freemans cruising around shouting at well-lubricated stag parties to put a lifejacket on!
Along with the odd Commode Door!

I'm going to put a different slant on this question. Let me start by saying I do think the weekly applause has run its course. Why do I say that? Because social media in its many guises has "added" lots of ancilliary issues to this. This week we will clap for Boris is one example so you will know what I mean. So I think the "add-ons" now devalue the applause to an extent. Please don't think I in any way at all devalue any of the efforts made by these heroes (Not Boris!), I spent over 40 years nursing and know full well the dedication and caring needed to do what they do. I also agreed with including supermarket and shop staff that were exposed to the general public fairly early on in this horrific period.
My next very big worry is that all these people are going to get a sharp kick in the teeth when the so called "Corona Recovery Plan" is presented along with a pay freeze for public sevtor and NHS workers.

it allowed me to pinch a section of the wall behind his head and stick it over.
Irfan View allows the same.

Ahhh, thanks for that.

Totally daft question but what was the tune playing in the background?? Sounded a tad old U2'ish?

My local had these wax lined cartons for take homes long before the lockdown however I have heard it said that the beer doesn`t taste the same, would anybody care to comment?
Have to admit that, for me, the only place the ale tastes as it should is at the pub! Be it inside or outdoors! Daft and odd I know, but I had a couple of my favourite tipples by bottle in the garden (Kronenberg) and didn't really enjoy it at all! But that is just me!

No mention of the condition of, or indeed, the presence of sails??

There are suggestions being made that some of the yards may not commission all of their fleets this year in the remaining season once it restarts. Possibly you have discovered a couple!

Not by any interpretation of the regulations as I understand them it wouldn't, and there were plenty here saying much the same about then on here !
Exactly so! Seems some folk are forgetting that this was way back in April when lockdown was supposedly at its tightest. The man just ignored everything with an I don't give a stuff attitude.

Along with whatever skeletons hiding in cupboards that Cummings will have in his little black book. Scrub "little" there methinks!

Why has no one made a fuss before about who appears on all the webcams -
Some years ago, I actually did on both the Broads forums. It was regarding the camera at the Wroxham Hotel. Long gone now. This camera used to actually pan down onto guests sat at the outside tables doing what customers do!
I questioned the "voyeuristic" nature of this and, very oddly!, there was a long debate about this very issue! Fancy that indeed!!! I seem to recall this actually resulted in the Hotel making changes to the views the camera displayed.

Didn't one of the yards at Reedham run a boat of a similar design shape to "River" for a while??
Had a memory "revival"! Sanderson Marine and "Sandplover" had a vaguely similar profile.

Can I suggest that you also post a review relating to its "functionality"! Looking at the original listing, although there are only three reviews they do suggest its a suitable safety aid which your observations clearly show it isnt!

I was thinking more of letting Paul have a go with his graphics cutter. Likely get a much cleaner cut.

And Costco do an industrial catering standard foil which is very robust and heavy gauged, might make a very suitable substitute! Comes with a ready made high gloss chromed finish.

My question was to the "other" Mark Mark ! Curious as to how long the boat is that he is seeking to insure.

My problem was with wombles and hats to dance around etc rather than sails!
