  1. Be very very careful. If you don't have a diesel heater fed from your main tank and they dip your tank and find red you Will gat carted duty regardless of whether you have receipts or not. The Dutch are currently the worst as it is now completely illegal to have red diesel in your boat unless it is commrcially coded oddly. It has been illegal since the end of February this year apparently as in holland this law came into force the January before last but through successful intervention of othr agencies it was extended for a further 12 months some get away with it others don't and so as is said above. Beware
  2. Dan is a real expert in these matters and so you wont be disappointed Gemsy, welcome to the forum by the way and please don't stop contributing!!
  3. White GSD - absolutely gorgeous
  4. It's friday and for some reason I'm in a cheeky mood today!! No offence meant, I'm suffering from 'How the heck am I going to keep up with someone in an S38' blues!!!!
  5. Johnnys cousin from Police Academy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX8-rirbQBk&NR=1 Watch from about 3.50min onwards - maybe you could use this idea in the future!!!
  6. I've got some names for you... Killer, Boxer, Scrapper, Beast, Smasher.... oh and as for the pup...um I'm stuck for names for a pup!!!!.....
  7. Cant make the first two weeks in AUg but may have a run down on the last couple of days to catch you on the way back up... sort of an overlap
  8. ..even something quite 'clandestine' with his boat too!!!!
  9. Oh and just reAlised that you could take my last post and swap the name interceptor for senator. Hehehe. Only joking ian
  10. Ah but she is. Because apparently inside there are west midlandish occupants who could have yer hubcaps off and away before you can say 'villa are going down' and as for my sinster mfv's well I'm still not convinced and now you mention their Danish herritage I'm even more convinced that we are living some Orwellian plot. Having worked on a Danish ship for 2 and a half years I seem to have suffered some Scandinavian mind melt and have little cohesive memory of those years. Instead of a MIB flashy thing, their mind control device is cunningly disguised in a gammeldansk bottle
  11. Lol. Is it a good time to mention a 330 statesman found it's way onto annie desktop today ??
  12. Hrawich . . Is that somewhere near sholtey? Not far from the dyslexia centre where I made that huge investment error by accidentally ploughing my money into a warehouse? Lol
  13. Wayne. You could always make a hole in the other side of the boat to let the water back out again!! Seriously. The valves usually are just push in one way open and closets and are easily available for just about any dinghy
  14. There you go Ian - weather nicely delivered for our run down on Saturday... should come boating with us more often!
  15. Interesting interesting interesting - fire at 200c - in a CARBON charcoal filter (Not your usual BBQ bricks but a filter used to leach contaminates...) Hmm, my chin is getting itchy again! Oh and thanks everyone for the great comments about my new underwater LED lighting system and how good they look - oddly I haven't had them fitted yet!
  16. Just found this old pic of Adam, Ian, Wayne and Robert from their younger days!!... I didn't realise they were so famous!
  17. On a serious note, regardless of whether Network Rail intended on fully opening the bridge today or not, two things are definitely worth mentioning. 1. The project for replacement was carried out more or less in the (although somewhat rediculously long) published time so hats off for that to NR on this occasion..... and... 2. BA and NR have had a practical demonstration that the river is for navigating and that river users 'could' if need be, become 'lawfully disobidient' and could cause problems if they are not rightfully represented and this should serve at least as a 'warning' that licensees' tollerance to loss of navigation is not taken lightly!!! All beware!! :
  18. The scarey thing about all the happenings listen above is that if details previously of any incident were hard to come by, (Remember the admission that the old A MAGNOX reactor had suffered a number of potentially dangerous incidents and radioactive material MAY have been released... think that admission was approx 90/91 time.... well now details of any incidents are covered by two wonderful new pieces of legislation namely the American Homeland Security Bill - yep our nuclear plants do come under that act, and of course the Prevention of Terrorism Act, both of which enable the operators of any plant to keep any details absolutely secret! Just a reminder that the Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) was designed by Babcock and Wilcox and is pretty much built to the same design of that built at Three Mile Island which managed to vent so much irradiated cooling gas when a PORV valve vented open....and was left with so much contaminated water (around 2.2 million gallons) that it took over two years to dispose of (via controlled evaporation) Incidentally, under much of a cloud, and despite much public outcry, the original site 1 was allowed to resume generation and was bought by a consortium named AmerGen in 1998, of which British Energy is a major share holder - although the TMI-2 reactor is now fully de-fuelled and in the final processes of being fully decommissioned and is being monitored as a 'long term storage facility' the sister TM-1 site continues to operate, a full year after it's decommissioning date, and this could continue to do so for at least another 25 years!!!.... Oh has anyone any idea of what else a PWR can be used for apart from energy generation... hmmm>? Anyway, back to the current lot this side of the pond.....- 50 additional firefighters - in addition to Sizewell's own fairly sizeable fire support unit and a fire in a 'fuel storage unit' at the 21 metre level doesn't sound like a small incident to me, and all of this is now making my brain swell....
  19. Just been thinking about this a little more - Adam - Sea Woolfie!!
  20. Hooligans!!!!! Yosser Hughesat the Helm (Boys from the Black Stuff!!) Or was it Citizen Smith (In the case of Adam!) We were listening in on 12 - very entertaining!! :
  21. Hmmm, it may explain what the boat has been up to in the past but doesnt explain the goings on at Southwold.... By the way I had a lovely glow about me this morning and my hair is definitely falling out!!!!!
  22. Yes that's because you've drunk beer contaminated by radioactive precense!!! - But did it glow code 8 my friend code 8!!
  23. Now Im worried.. Cant help noticing the similarity between this boat and Interceptor in Hamilton Dock - Oddly I could identify just about every antenna on that vessel too, and some of those are def Band 3 / Tetra / GSM arrays.. Im sure the guy doing the monitiring had BE Nuclear Agency written on his back and on the american style badges on his sleve tops. He was making it absolutely clear that everything was 'routine' which I always find an odd statement to make as it usually signifies that it plainly isn't Oddly enough, even if sizewell had a chernobyl level melt down we would never find out because of legislation that was put in place during the last few parliaments, no public announcement would ever be made and the first anyone would know would be the increase of activity.. Now Im not suggesting anything like that has happened, but something is definitely not 'normal' nor 'routine' and they were very shifty when it came to cameras, hence the long lens shot when he wasnt watching..
  24. Parked at the end of the Sizewell Outflow, Nuclear Agency worker testing boats with Geiger counter for radiation, he was accompanied by British Nuclear Constabulary Officer Environmental Agency taking lots of water samples Now tell me - Am I being paranoid???
