Not Jason for the last few years but George. The gauges have been out for a number of years. We need 8’ 7in to get under but we went under at 8’ 4 showing 10 days ago with 5in to spare.

Won’t be topping up 300 litres any time soon at simpsons as this would cost an extra £120 over Boulters ? Even a Yorkshire man would understand that😂

Trying to get to a job at Sutton was fun yesterday morning with temp lights at Wroxham and Hoveton added also with a low loader with35ft cruiser trying to get out of the boatyard then 2 fire engines, ambulances and I think Hemsby lifeboat all in the car park at the boat yard (didn’t find out what was going on)

Take your time Ian, especially when looking for a house in Norfolk, location location, from experience what looks lovely in the summer can be bleak in winter.

Had the same type of head ache for 4 weeks since my 1st jab, this week it seems to have eased somewhat as I wasn’t really looking forward to having my 2nd one!

If you are keeping the car long term I would bite the bullet and pay the £395.
My last BMW which I traded in Last June only had 1 key for the last 2 years, god knows were the spare key went, I’m sure it’s on the boat some were, I think BMW want nearer to £500 for a new key! I always thought I would find the key somewhere so never bothered to buy another one and fortunately it wasn’t a problem at trade in, but it’s always on your mind what if I lost this one!

Yes very impressive. I’ve been sick of hearing the put downs of this country over the last few years, we don’t do this and that as good as Germany etc. Even my brother who lives Spain regularly saying the NHS in Spain is much better than the Uk. (Never did believe him). So thanks to all involved you have made us proud😀

Most newer (last 30 years or so ) developments have restrictive covenants stoping parking of caravans, motor homes etc. In fact it has all blow up on our Close recently.

Don’t agree with the 10% theory Ian as a £150k river boat could have the same maintainance cost of a £25K example.
Comparing the Haines 31 with 50 hp inboard engine around £300 if basic service only annually.
Were as the twin engine outdrive Sealine could average £1000 easy if the outdrives need servicing every other year. But it depends if you can do the work yourself or have to have a boatyard to do it.
Now updating this is were you can really get carried away !

Be prepared for an increase in fees Ian if the usual suspects buy it.

The Captain has a decent size sliding side door next to the helm which along with the rear doors fully open has a good through draft unlike other sedan types.
