  1. You will need your own blue loo and the pump only operates around 8 minutes per token! Hope that helps
  2. Poggymale you are right about reorganisation of the boat to reduce bending, when you have a bad back bending is your enemy!
  3. I suffered my first herniated lumbar disc at 17 years old and had my first discectomy when 18. The second slipped disc (different lumbar one) came along when i was 29 and I had another discectomy at 33. Im now 34, back pain and Sciatica has been a huge part of my life so far, the discectomy sorts out the Sciatica but the back pain remains at differing degrees depending on my activities. One thing that can sometimes help me is to lie on my back on a hard surface with my knees bent both legs together, then gently rock my knees left to right toward the floor just as far as is comfortable. It seems to free those pesky muscles up up a bit!
  4. We dont know you personally but we have vistied LBB a few times for pumpouts water over the years when we have been in the area and were always welcomed by friendly staff who attended to our needs quickly. Very sad news of the intended closure but I think everyone will agree you must to do what is best for yourselves and your family and my wife and I wish you both the very best for the future. All the best Jason and Sonia x
  5. Kfurbank fitting a suitable potable expansion vessel to your domestic water system would achieve very similar results to what you have acheived with a different style of pump. It would certainly stop any surging and you would get a period of flow when turning on an outlet before the pump needed to cut in and repressurise the system.
  6. Hi to all, new member here but not new to the broads being both hirers and privateers and lived in the Norfolk and Suffolk area for the last 6 years. We heard about the new Commodore recently and having researched online and found this thread we decided to book Commodore for a week afloat later in the year which we are all very excited about. It looks like Richardsons are definately setting standards with the latest boats they have produced and we look forward to seeing any more build pictures that Clive might have time to post up for us all here! All the best to all!
