  2. Very good indeed. Not tried the grub but Nog and Winter Reserve very good. Mrs Nog working the gin shelf (again)
  3. We take the boat back on Monday M Compared with last December it is much milder but wetter! In some ways I prefer it frosty but dry. Fur and Feather today hopefully for a drop of Norfolk Nog
  4. Raining again! Stove is lit in the Lion though
  5. Indeed, no speed limit on Breydon. Just think in winter they don't have much to do so might want to check what we're up to Been taking it very steady all week though, it's amazing how much fuel you save
  6. Ah, going the other way, rather than overtook Steady 1500 revs
  7. Hi M Breydon was quite calm really, southerly wind possibly. No issues, all went very smoothly. Didn't stop for water at Stracey as fairly full but worth noting. Now dropped anchor
  8. Safely through Great Yarmouth Passed a Ranger on Breydon but he didn't bother us. Sharp eyed Mrs Nog spotted a water point at the Stracey Arms Mill, pay at shop. Wondered if it's new or just never seen it before.
  9. I used to have a DD is K9P badge
  10. Looks like he was there from mid 50's right up to early 70's. Steward and Patteson pub but would have been taken over by the nasty Watneys.
  11. Couldn't agree more. I think (could be wrong) that it's a Punch pub. I guess the rent will be eye watering. Not so bad in summer but must be a real struggle in winter.
  12. Ha ha! Don't like to waste valuable drinking time eating so not this time but maybe for Mrs Nog's birthday. Also top marks to the Ship for not booting us out early. Most enjoyable evening with Little Sharpie and Mrs Nog worked the gin shelf. Excellent pub
  13. Local sources tell me it's top notch, a special treat maybe?
  14. Hi Helen it's at Strumpshaw just east of Brundall. Good pub with excellent beer. I'm told the food is very high quality but not cheap. Well worth a visit.
  15. Sunset at Reedham, corn going down well again
  16. Should've checked, doh! Golden rule on Broads in winter - check pubs!
  17. Bit better in White Horse and Mrs N continuing her support of the local gin industry
  18. Not very impressed with the beer choice in the Swan but Mrs Nog lapped up the local gin
  19. Delighted all the fishermen at Loddon DTS in the Angel looking hopeful
  20. Tucked up safely at Swancraft and most enjoyable visit to the Shoulder of Mutton and White Heron
  21. Good grief, what's this yellow stuff??
