  1. Yes, by boat M Had to wait for the Bridge after leaving Caxton Club but got through at about 7 foot 3. The Locks is a fabulous pub. Waiting for Reedcutter to open at the mo. Really quiet darn sarf, wonder why.....
  2. Ha ha! The 10 quid mooring fee at Ranworth will sort them out no problem mooring here at Geldeston and me and Mrs Nog have found a quiet corner. Best time to be on the Broads is December, moor anywhere for free and loads of room in the pubs. Magic.
  3. Very busy at the Locks tonight No sign of PJ in Beccles I'm afraid but will look on the way back

  5. No, very quiet surprisingly. There's a little market on in the square though and Mrs Nog is looking at the tat
  6. Safely in Monica land
  7. Safely through Great Yarmouth, nothing stirring, even a mouse. Beccles and Caxton Club here we come
  8. Ex Aston if memory serves? Distinctive green hull?
  9. Certainly will are they berthed at Beccles?
  10. The Stokesby swirl is clearly visible where we are. Doesn't show up very well on a photo
  11. All quiet at Stokesby, for now..... The number of boats ploughing up the river against the ebb is amazing. No fuel refunds there methinks
  12. Not at all M Aiming to go through at silly o'clock tomorrow and avoid the crowds. Will be heading your way too
  13. Plenty of room at Herbert Woods this morning Now ready for a gin or three at the excellent Bridge Inn
  14. That would have been us Jean! I think many folk look at the front part and don't venture down near the crane which is usually the best place to moor.
  15. All quiet in Faircraft Loynes yard now. Not too many of their boats out by the look of it. I think Richardsons have really cornered the market this week by the look of it. Lot of their lower priced boats out too. Fortunately Bridgecraft give excellent value for the quality.
  16. All quiet and peaceful in Faircraft Loynes this morning. No engines running.........yet..... Two boats moored outside the hotel. 20 quid a pop apperently. Visited the hotel last night. Not cheap but the Lacons and Humpty Dumpty were in fine fettle and Mrs Nog sampled the flavoured vodka. Full marks to the Hotel for the great bar service and most importantly, they didn't boot us out early
  17. Only going from Wroxham to Aylesham, no intermediate stops at the mo. Nothing getting through by the look of it.
  18. Ha ha! It's about 3 miles. Took us about 50 minutes there and just over an hour back but Mrs N had been sampling the gin in RS and also the Red Lion where the landlady opened early for us
  19. Called in at Upton yesterday. Passed another boat half way down who said there was no room. Carried on regardless - moorings on left completely empty although all Eastwood Whelpton fleet seemed to be in so full at that side.
  20. Hi Helen Down till next Tuesday. Just having a rest after walking to Coltishall and back but will be bouncing back soon
  21. Not much getting through the Bridge
  22. Certainly was!! Tower Bridge Simon. Great service from Bridgecraft as always.
