Brass/bronze Fabricators

Could anyone recommend a good fabricator who works in brass and bronze? I need someone to make some porthole liners.

Spider - Try Classic Marine at Suffolk Yacht Harbour , they're not cheap but stock all sorts of traditional stuff and will fabricate from drawings I understand.

I know many years ago we had some sword pommels cast at a brass / bronze foundry at Chatham dockyard, all you had to do was make a pattern from wood and they would cast it for you - at a price. No idea if they are still there now though.

Theres also a brass/bronze founders in Brightlingsea.

Thanks all. I know Classic Marine but didn't realise that they also fabricate, so will give them a call next week. Grendel, the foundry at Chatham Dockyard seems to have shut down. Will research Brightlingsea and post anything useful back here for future reference.

The boatyard is still at Chatham. Not sure if the foundry has been incorporated in that. I'm not sure what it's called.. I think tn.norriss in London could do bespoke bits.

I found the website of the company which operated the foundry and it states that they no longer operate there and are looking for new premises. The foundry now seems to be occupied by the University of Kent School of Music!

Any more clues about tn.norriss? Plenty of norrises in Tennessee but not much in London!

I know this is an old post, but Hydramec in Great Yarmouth can fabricate using brass or stainless... Full turning/milling facilities
