We have been on our fo ten days we wear moored when a sailing boat on his engine power came in to the side of our boat took the paint off and half the name caught his ropes on our when we told him what he had done he said it was the winds to blame no sorry it's really not on

Thanks for not naming the other boat, we do have a "no name & shame" ethos here.

Was the boat your own or a hire boat? I'm afraid this just happens when inexperienced (or even very experienced) peeps get caught out in strong winds but it certainly is their responsibility.
