Another one for the NBN Brains Trust

Taken from the hoard of Uncle Albert. I've put my Zippo beside them for size comparison. There are about nine of these things in total. This is the only purple one, the others are clear glass. All marked 'Product of EEC' but what on earth are they and why has he collected them?
