FairTmiddlin
Have found a free site for Audiobooks https://librivox.org/search Have just dowloaded . The Land of the Broads by Ernest Richard Suffling It's a broads handbook written in 1886-7 and is a fantastic listen about how the broads were in the latter stages of the 19th century. There are another couple of broads books on there. quite a lot of the old fiction books too. All of the books are out of copyright and are read by volunteers. You can volunteer to record books yourself if you are looking for something to doto while away those long winter nights 1

ChrisB
Thanks to both for the links. There are works that are so much better in Audio Format. I suppose most famous of which is Dylan Thomas "Under Milk Wood" which is nearly impossible to appreciate if just read.

The Richard Burton recording really brings to life a work which otherwise is quite difficult to engage with.
