ChrisB
I was looking through some back pictures......exactly 11 years ago on 1st April 2009. This picture was taken by my late wife as we crossed Barton, of a group of youngsters, out in the Hunter Fleet rafted up. Quite a demonstration of boat handling skills.
YnysMon
Hunter’s Yard, as all the others, have closed. They have messaged those with bookings offering to change dates either to later in the 2020 season or to 2021, or failing that a refund. That seems a lot more flexible than a lot of other organisations. As we have a booking for early July we have asked to stick with that for the time being. Here’s hoping that restrictions might be lifted by then.
SwanR
You certainly can’t tell yet Helen how long this will take for the position to change. Great photo Chris. One of our busiest times afloat was a few days in early September one year. The rivers certainly won’t be looking like this right now. But hopefully there will be at least part of a season by the time we get round to the autumn.

I should think that unlike many other yards they are without a maritime loan or mortgage on their boats So less cash flow problems but nether the less fantastic customer service and all credit to them
