What To Do, Now No Boat.

With Zimbi sold and no model boat to build.

I decided to do something with the strips of planking left over.

So what do you think of these?

I think it is parquetry, these coasters are easy, just .5 or 2mm planking strips left over from building model boats.

Jill just says I escape to my shed for any excuse, but the stocking fillers for all the kids and our friends are done.

Joy, now my next model has arrived, an Amati Windmill that I intend to electrify to make the sails turn and music plays while doing so I also have my eyes on a cheap radio control to operate it.

I think I just have too much imagination and time on my hands.

My view is I have spent a lot of money on these tools so I need to use them!

This is the last model I built.

Now acts a room divider between the kitchen and dining room.
