Chaos At The Bridge

What better way to spend Sunday morning than sat outside the Riverside Tearoom with a front row view of the peaceful quiet river that very quickly turned into chaos. Boats trying to get in and out of Wroxham, at times four abreast across the river, some trying to turn ... multiple times while they worked out what to do. It was all ok until one boat at the front seemed to come to a stop outside Hotel Wroxham ... really couldn't tell if they knew where they were, whether they wanted to moor, whether they wanted to get under the bridge. They pretty quickly caused absolute chaos behind them and in all directions. :)

Yes, thats where we ended up for the afternoon, very impressed with the new moorings and path 👏 We ended up at Horning on Percy Island but a shout from the departing Nyx across the river saved us a tenner...thanks Nyx..👍 👍

Can heartedly recommend The Staithe and Willow crab sandwiches , £7.95 take away and that included a packet of Kettle crisps

We are adjacent to the Staithe & Willow and the last mooring has just been claimed.....at 19:38pm...and there is still one available outside the Swan.
