SwanR
Looks like this event takes place tomorrow. So if anyone is driving around the area be prepared for some of the roads to be busy with cyclists at times. You can see the details and start times of the various routes on their website. https://thepedalrevolution.co.uk/tour-de-broads/ 1
TheQ
Wroxham Hoveton bridge is going to be a nightmare, most of the cyclists will be using it. I know several of the junctions they're using are not easy at the best of times.. Many of the roads they are using near me are single track which will be interesting if they meet a tractor and trailer or combine on route. I'll be at home all day, as I am today, with the noise of the hedge smasher going.. should be good for punctures for he goes a little further their way.
SwanR
Saw some of the riders out this morning on the stretch of road from Hoveton through Wroxham and along to Salhouse. This was just as the skies opened, very dark clouds and some fairly flooded roads. Most had flashing lights on the front but there were some in dark clothing with no lights making them very difficult to see.
RumPunch
No problem with the event generally, but the route past my house, a narrow village road coming down hill with a bend, and the lead packs were doing around 30 ( compared with car over same distance ) Not a good choice of route. BroadAmbition
Not a good choice of route. Could there ever be a 'Good' choice of route with Norfolk roads being what they generally are? Griff
